1937.6 entered the 8th Otsu-class preparatory flight trainee (the Preparatory Flight Training Course (Yokaren)) course → 1940.3 completed the flight training course → after Ōita, Ōmura and Kanoya naval air groups, 1941.4 attached to the 〔12th Naval Air Group〕 (Hankou base) → 1941.5.26 the long-range attack on Tianshui and Nanzheng (first combat, two shot down) → September attached to the 〔3rd Naval Air Group〕 (after the outbreak of war, the air fighting over the Philippines and the Netherlands East Indies) → advanced to Koepang on Timor (air defense of the Arafura Sea, attacks on Darwin) → in autumn 1942 the main body moved up to Rabaul but he stayed on at Koepang → 1943.5 returned home as an instructor at 〔Omura Naval Air Group〕 → 1944.5 transferred to the 〔653rd Naval Air Group〕 → June, sortied for the Battle of the Philippine Sea (the battle off the Marianas) → October, the Shō operation (parted from the carrier force, via Okinawa and Taiwan to the Bamban base on Luzon → forward to Cebu) → the Leyte operation and base interception battles → mid-November moved back to the homeland and was incorporated into the 〔601st Naval Air Group〕 → homeland air defense and the Okinawa air battle → the end of the war.
