1931.6 entered the Yokaren, 〔Yokosuka Naval Air Group〕 → 1938.2 first air combat in the attack on Nanchang (two shot down) → 1938.12 joined Ryūjō → 1941.9 the newly formed 〔3rd Naval Air Group〕 → 1941.12.8 the Luzon air battles → the Netherlands East Indies; attacks on Darwin and Wyndham → 1942.9 air defence of the area north of Australia (left behind with the rear party) → spring 1943 renewed attacks on Darwin with the 〔202nd Naval Air Group〕 → 1943.5 returned home, Tokushima Naval Air Group → 1943.11 promoted Lieutenant j.g., division leader aboard Hiyō → 1944.1.25 moved up to Rabaul → 1944.1.27 went missing in an air battle over Rabaul; officially declared killed in action.
