1937 enlisted at the Yokosuka Naval Barracks → 1941.5 graduated from the 54th Pilot Trainee Course → Oita Naval Air Group → 1942.2 posted to the 4th Naval Air Group (moved up to Rabaul) → April transferred to the Tainan Naval Air Group (fighting over eastern New Guinea and the Solomons from Rabaul and Lae, to August) → in March, while chasing a Lockheed bomber single-handed, he was hit and force-landed in the mountains, getting back with the help of local islanders and by dugout canoe → wounded in combat over Port Moresby in May → 8.26 hit and force-landed during the attack on Buna, wounded and sent back to Japan → 1943.5 the 251st Naval Air Group (moved up to Rabaul again) → killed in the air combat during the attack on Rendova on 1943.7.4
An escape in which, after making a forced landing in the mountains, he made his way downriver in a dugout canoe to survive
