Born 1920 in Fukuoka Prefecture → 1941.12 graduated from the 宮崎 Higher School of Agriculture and Forestry → 1942.2 became a naval reserve student → flight training at Kasumigaura, Iwakuni and Ōita → 1943.2 reserve ensign → 1943.8 posted to the 〔253rd Naval Air Group〕 and went straight up to Rabaul → from late September he took part in the operations against Arndt Point, Cape Merkus, Torokina and Buna, and fought hard in almost every one of the actions around Rabaul → killed on 12.23 in the air battle in which about 80 combined US fighters and bombers were intercepted over Rabaul.
