Born in Saga Prefecture in 1906 → 1925 entered the Navy → 1926.11 graduated from the 9th pilot trainee course (a veteran) → Hōshō, Kaga, 〔Omura Naval Air Group〕 → from 1932.11, four years as a senior pilot of the 〔Yokosuka Naval Air Group〕, the home of the fighter arm → 1936.11 Flight Warrant Officer → on the outbreak of the China Incident he was posted to the 〔13th Naval Air Group〕 and moved up to 公大 base at Shanghai → in about six months, until he returned home in January the following year, he shot down seven in the Shanghai area → instructor at naval air groups in the home islands → 1941.10 special-duty ensign (flying branch) → 1943.3 division leader of the newly formed 〔281st Naval Air Group〕, sent to the northern Kuriles → 1943.12, as the situation in the Marshall Islands worsened, moved up to Roi → many aircraft were destroyed on the ground in raids by the US task force, and attempts to get the men out by submarine and aircraft failed → officially recorded on 1944.2.6 as having died in the annihilation (fighting to the last man (gyokusai)) of the garrison. He was the man who first established the "hineri-komi" turning technique in his 〔Yokosuka Naval Air Group〕 days and spread it through the whole service.
