Part of the garrison at Hsinking in Manchukuo→given the air defence of the Anshan steelworks→against the B-29 raids from September 1944 onwards, even its 10 cm anti-aircraft guns could not reach high enough to be effective

The record states that, unable to reach the necessary altitude, the regiment could not mount an effective interception against B-29 air raids.
