War record
Part of the 41st Division→April 1944, crossed the 坂東 river and made night attacks towards Hollandia against the Allied forces that had landed at Aitape
The record states that, under the watchword "better a bloody fight than to sit and die," the regiment kept up night raids even as it was worn down.

What is still not known
- Men of this unit: apart from the commander, no names have been gathered yet.
This card is made only of facts copied from one book. Only what can be confirmed against a primary source will one day become 🟢. An empty field means the book does not say. Nothing has been filled in by guesswork.
