Part of the 3rd Tank Division→May 1944, the Peking–Hankou (京漢) operation; took the walled county town of Linru near Luoyang, breaking the gate with tanks and supporting the infantry assault
The regiment's tanks destroyed the city gate, directly supporting the infantry battalion's breakthrough into the city.
