War record

Under the 128th Division, posted to the Tonei front (about 80 km from the border)→9 August 1945 the war opened and, under heavy attack by Soviet armour, it fell back to the Tonei positions→the companies were surrounded and fought near 完勝山 and 鶏冠山

The record states that in each of the surrounded companies, the commanding officer personally led from the front and kept up the fighting.
