1906年11月15日 進水→1910年3月25日 竣工→1905年5月15日 横須賀海軍工廠で起工（日本初の国産戦艦）→第一次世界大戦で第二南遣支隊に組み入れられ、太平洋のドイツ領攻略作戦に参加→1923年9月20日 ワシントン軍縮条約により除籍→1924年9月2日 戦艦日向・金剛等の研究射撃標的艦となり、駆逐艦の雷撃により処分された→1923年9月20日除籍（ワシントン軍縮条約により廃艦決定）。1924年9月2日、実艦標的として雷撃処分され沈没
