1919年1月7日 進水→1920年3月16日 竣工→1932年1月、第一次上海事変に参加、長江水域での作戦に従事→1943年6月、船団護衛中に被雷した特設水上機母艦「相良丸」を曳航・座礁させ救援→1944年1月、囮船「でりい丸」を用いた対潜水艦誘致作戦（乙作戦支隊）に参加→1944年11月、アメリカ潜水艦の雷撃を受けた空母「信濃」の曳航・護衛指令を受ける→1945年2-3月、対潜実験艦への改造工事（15cm対潜噴進砲の装備等）を実施→1945年9月15日除籍。船体は解体されず福島県小名浜港の防波堤に転用された
