Who passed through

Sixteen of the 124 aces passed through Tsukuba — a training group that would later join the defence of the homeland.

Note: as a training air group, this unit has no combat history in the reference work used here, which by its own editorial policy covers only front-line units.

What is still not known
  • Commanding officer: this field could not be read in our copy (the top of the page is cut off).
  • Men of this unit: apart from the commander, no names have been gathered yet.
  • War record: where this unit went and what it did has not been traced yet.

This card is made only of facts copied from one book. Only what can be confirmed against a primary source will one day become 🟢. An empty field means the book does not say. Nothing has been filled in by guesswork.
